The tour  begins as you enter the front door. While you wait for your appointment you will relax in our beautifully appointed waiting room. You may opt to glance over a magazine  or examine our breath taking salt water aquarium.

If  You had an appointment with an aesthetician, massage therapist, pedicurist, or our physician's assistant at La Piel Spa... you will then enter the door on your right. You will be greeted by the receptionist at the spa desk and directed to one the treatment rooms where you will meet your therapist or physician's asssistant.

If your appointment is with Dr. Pena... you will be escorted into the door on the left chest beside the reception desk. If the appointment is for the consultation or a "view photo" view be entering Dr. Pena's office.  If you're here for a postoperative visit or some other concern he will be placed in one of the exam rooms.  Photographs including the 3-D Vectra images of the face and breast and body will be taken in the photo room to help Dr. Pena properly plan all the surgical and nonsurgical options. Your old photographs will be extremely helpful for this exercise.

Postoperative patient's and patient's entering on the day of their schedule surgery will enter through the surgical drive-through door. This insures the ultimate in privacy for our surgical patients. Here you will be escorted into the preoperative room where you will be prepared for the upcoming procedure. If anesthetic he has been scheduled, you will meet and discuss this with the anesthetist as they formulate your anesthesia plan. After conferring with Dr. Pena in the final markings are placed, you are escorted into the operating suite. Dr. Pena has designed a state-of-the-art operatory with a giant window leading to a private garden. This scenario allows the patient to relax in this environment. This facility is accredited by AAAASF (American Association for Accreditation of Ambulatory Surgical Facilities) and Dr pena is a member of the American Society of Plastic Surgeons. The ASPS is comprised solely of Board Certified Plastic Surgeons.

After your procedure you will be taken to the recovery room where you will be carefully watched as you fully awaken. When this has been accomplished the individual you have appointed to take care of your during the first postoperative day will be asked to come in and discuss the instructions and precautions. You will then exit via the perioperative door. This is the same door you will use the next day when you come for your first postoperative day visit.
